Once pitched, you can then simply detach from your Campervan / Motorhome to leave the awning free standing whilst you go out and explore for the day. With just 2 fibreglass poles used to create the main body of the awning it is quick and easy to pitch, and structurally very stable. The unique design means this is one of the most versatile drive-aways on the market, offering access from all sides of the awning through the large roll back doors.
You have the option to zip in an optional Bedroom Annex to the back of the awning, meaning your main living space is not affected if you are looking to add sleeping space. Available in 3 ergonomic cowl heights to suit the vast majority of campervans & motorhomes, the Cayman F/G offers unrivalled value for money. Including a fold-flat sewn-in groundsheet, and lots of ventilation with plenty of mesh fly screen panels, this is the awning of choice for smaller touring families, couples or independent adventurers, who crave more usable space alongside their van, to meet a budget.
Produced from premium ultra-lightweight 120HDE fabric weave, which is lightweight, compact and packs away neatly into the inclusive carry bag, making it perfect where weight or space limitations are of key consideration. Exceptionally waterproof thanks to the 3,000mm Hydrostatic Head fabric which employs fully taped seams throughout, leaving rain to simply bead onto the surface, before rolling off.
Large PVC windows permit an excellent vista of the outside world, from the luxury and convenience of your awning, helping to really encapsulate the surrounding landscape. All windows feature integral toggle-in curtains, which can be rolled-back during the day or closed for complete privacy at night. Ventilation Points aid in reducing condensation by optimising airflow around the awning, and a mesh ventilation fly screen panel on the side door will help to keep insects at bay, whilst retaining a pleasant flow of air. Full Roll-Back doors surround the awning meaning it can double-up as a free-standing shelter or gazebo in hot weather.
The Cayman F/G comes complete with a fully sewn-in PE groundsheet, steel ground pegs, reflective guylines, and a repair kit. There are mains cable access points, plus Velcro fixings for the optional LED lighting systems.
